Tile Roof Repairs

Tile roofs get a bad reputation they don't deserve. People assume metal is the more reliable option, and it isn't — metal roofs leak just as often as tile roofs, just for different reasons. The difference is that on a tile roof you can usually see where water is getting in, whereas on a metal roof the entry point can be a tiny failed seal twenty metres from where the leak appears. We've talked plenty of homeowners out of converting to metal over the years and they've all thanked us for it.

We carry the common profiles from Boral, Monier and Bristile so we can replace individual tiles like-for-like on most modern roofs. For older terracotta and obscure heritage profiles, we'll match the colour and profile as closely as the market allows — sometimes that means using a salvaged tile, which is genuinely the best match you can get.

We walk and inspect every tile in the area of concern, plus the ridges, valleys and flashings around it. Cracked or slipped tiles are replaced, bedding is repaired where needed, pointing is refreshed, and we finish with a water test so we leave knowing the leak is actually fixed.
